CKHS Library
"Read! For The Power Of It!"
Welcome to the Central Kitsap High School library.
Our goal is to support student success by helping students
become critical thinkers, readers, and writers. We do this by
offering books on a myriad of subjects, by maintaining a large
number of computer work stations, and by offering a helping hand
when needed. We have extensive resources to help students and faculty members with research
projects, as well as having access to the Live Homework Help
Link through the Kitsap Regional Library.
Here students can register to vote or find out more about
Community Service Learning. We also provide a space for
CK@Morning and CK@Night, where students may come to the
library before and after regular school hours to study or
receive tutoring. Students may join Distinguished
Readers, a group of students who meet in the library every
Tuesday during all three lunches. Students who are ready to
take the SAT or other standardized test may practice for free
at one of our workstations.
Drop by to meet Ms. Lackman and Ms. Blandin, our librarians
and Ms. Kohlbeck and Mrs. Caouette, the library clerks. We
enjoy visiting with our students and helping them
find a book or information they might need. For an overview
of all we have to offer, be sure to pick up a library brochure
while you're here. Our hours are:
Mon - Wed: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Thur - Fri: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
